I have decided I need to stop being lazy and spend a little time and tlc on my blog! My first post is this card made with Stampin Up! products. I am a SU! demonstrator in the UK so if you ever need any stamping or scrapbooking goodies - just contact me!
I chose this card for my first post 'cos it is probably the best one (in my opinion...) I have made with SU stuff. I got the idea for this when I was on a bus somewhere and I saw some queen anne's lace on the side of the road. It struck me that I could get the white blossom with a gel pen... so as soon as I could get to my supplies I got to work! I stamped the flower on Certainly Celery cardstock with Old Olive ink then used my Signo white gel pen to add the dots. The Good Luck panel was stamped with Canvas background using Certainly Celery ink in a mottled fashion then I added some faux stitching with my SU markers. The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive and is from Sincere Salutations.
The butterflies from A Touch of Nature were stamped in Old Olive, coloured with SU markers than embossed with clear embossing powder. The card base was stamped with French Flair (now on the retired list... boo hoo!) in Certainly Celery.
An Old Olive ribbon was used to finish this off!
