Today I had a rare day off school, and while it would have been lovely to stay at home and make cards all day, I had to do some report writing - grr! Well, in between watching Wimbledon (yay!) I managed to finish them all (big sigh of relief!). I even had some time at the end of the day to make a card for this week's colour challenge over at SCS: Almost Amethyst, Apricot Appeal and Soft Suede. Here's what I came up with:
I used the Fresh Cuts stamp set for the main image, stamping it with Soft Suede then colouring with markers and sponging around the edges. I painted the edges with Shimmer Paint, as well as the butterfly (All-a-flutter). The sentiment is from Sincere Saluations and I stamped it inside a frame from Frames with a Flourish.
I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch for the layout, adding some ribbon and a punched border to finish.
Thanks for stopping by!
